His Kids Adoption Resources began from a God formed desire in the hearts of Zack and Rebecca Caldwell to assist prospective adoptive parents with navigating the journey of adoption. As adoptive parents of two children from Ethiopia, and Rebecca being an adopted child herself, the Caldwell’s understand the overwhelming journey that adoption can be. It was because of their personal adoption journey, and also from speaking with countless couples that desired to adopt, that His Kids Adoption Resources was created. The Caldwells are members of the Christian Alliance For Orphans, and they currently serve as members of the Kentucky Board of Directors for America World Adoption Agency. They have also led numerous adoption seminars and participated in several adoption fairs. Rebecca holds a Master of Arts in Human Services and possesses graduate level training in counseling. His Kids Adoption Resources holds to the Biblical view of adoption, believing that God calls all of us to care for the orphan (James 1:27). We pray that God will use this ministry to assist adoptive parents in caring for orphans through the wonderful miracle of adoption. His Kids Adoption Resources IS NOT a child placing agency or a home study agency/provider. HKAR exists simply to be a stepping stone, a place for prospective adoptive parents to begin navigating the world of domestic and international adoption.

For many individuals and families desiring to adopt, one of the biggest challenges is getting started. We agree, beginning the adoption process can be overwhelming! That's where we come in. We are here to provide the free support and help you need to begin navigating the waters of adoption. It's our passion, and here's how we'll do it:- ConsultationAn initial consultation can occur either via email or in person. The intial consultation is a chance for His Kids Family Resources to listen to the needs and desires of the propective adoptive family. The need could be for information or resources regarding domestic or international adoption, questions about country programs, information about financial resources for adoption, or just for support and a chance to ask general adoption questions. HKAR exists to support families with any and all of these needs. -NetworkingHis Kids Adoption Resources has had the opportunity to network with many adoptive families and will be happy to provide you with the opportunity to speak with these families. We have found from our personal experience that hearing families adoptive stories can be very encouraging and provide insight into the adoption journey. -Client CenteredHis Kids Adoption Resources exists to advocate for orphans and to assist prospective adoptive parents. Services/information will only be offered as desired by the adoptive parents.
